Tuberculous otitis media is the second most frequent ENT disease of tuberculous origin. Most cases occur secondarily, when organisms are coughed into the nasopharynx from pulmonary lesions, or as the result of hematogenous spread. A Case of Spontaneous Pneumothorax with PReumomediastinum in the Newborn Infant

This paper presents a case of spontaneous pneumothorax with pneumomediastinum in a one day old Korean male newborn infant. Spontaneous pneumothorax and pneumomediastinum are rare diseases and manifested respiratory distress symptoms and unusual activities, that can be relieved temporarily with oxygen inhalation. Literature reviews were also made briefly.
